Hey Shane. I played saxophone with effects pedals in a band called “Madness Without No Method” in college. Toured the seedier venues of Ithaca and Binghamton. Those times are tied for second most fun in my life.
I knew there must've been a reason I'm in a startup now…

I always wanted to be a rockstar, but unfortunately I was blessed with absolutely ZERO musical talent (Maybe I should audition for X-Factor or America's Got Talent).
I have however also been involved in my fair share of start-ups, and like you, I've had a mixed bag of winners and losers. But if you have entreprenuerial blood, you'll never give up

Loveitloveitloveitloveit. Found this via Alexia Tsotsis' post in SFWeekly. Having played in—and launched—many a no-name band in the 60s-70s-80s, I can relate. (At least I got to open for the greats-Cream, Dead, Zappa, Sly, Geils, BS&T, Muddy. ) Have been a biz consultant for 25 years now and am in the final stages of a book focusing on TEAM-building lessons from the top rock bands.
