Get a Feed Reader
Hi everybody! I’ve just started a blog so you can keep in touch with me/become enlightened by my sarcasm and wit/waste time while you’re at work/waste time while you put off going to sleep at around 3am, etc.
Since you probably read a lot of other cool blogs (and if you don’t, you should read a few, like this one), I’m going to teach you how to get a feed reader. What a feed reader is is a site you log into that shows you all the blogs you subscribe to, and who has updated recently. That way you don’t have to log into everyone’s blog one at a time, only to find that they haven’t written anything new. It’s pretty nifty, and you can see old posts in the reader, too. I use Google Reader, since it’s easy and free and stuff.
Go to www.google.com/reader (and sign up if you don’t have a google account). Then, click “add subscription,” and copy and paste the URL of the blog you want to add. Or, if you’re signed up for Google Reader, you can just go to the site and find the button that says “subscribe to this,” like mine does at the top (click posts!). Then you select your reader (in this case Google Reader), and voila! It’s added to your feed!
Now you can know when I update, which may or may not be a lot. But at least you don’t have to check all the time!
P.S. Go to this webpage about how an astronaut claims that aliens are real. Yes, I made this site. It will be done soon.
